How We Review

This page explains how Review2Me decides what to cover, what a review is based on, and how the site makes money. If something on this page ever doesn’t match what you see in a review, please tell us at info@review2me.com.

Three kinds of articles

  • Reviews are based on our own use of the product. A review says how we got the product, how long we used it, and how we used it.
  • Buying guides explain how to choose a type of product. They’re based on published sources, which we list at the end. They don’t rank or score specific products we haven’t used.
  • Blog articles cover health, fitness, and tech topics, with sources for any facts.

How we test a product

  • We use the product the way a normal buyer would, for at least two weeks before writing.
  • We take our own photos during testing. We don’t use manufacturer photos as evidence of use.
  • We note what didn’t work as well as what did, and who the product is not right for.
  • Specs and prices come from the manufacturer or retailer and are dated, because they change.
  • What we check depends on the category. For example: for fitness gear, comfort, build quality, noise, and how easy it is to store; for tech, setup, battery life, app quality, and connectivity.

How products are chosen and obtained

We choose products that our readers are likely to consider, not products a brand pays us to cover. The products we review are ones we already own or have borrowed, and each review says which. If we ever accept a free product from a brand, the review will say so clearly, and the brand won’t see or approve the review before it’s published.

No scores, just a clear verdict

We don’t give products a number or star rating. Instead, each review ends with a plain verdict, the pros and cons we found in use, and who the product is (and isn’t) right for.

How Review2Me makes money

Some links on Review2Me are affiliate links. If you buy through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Commissions never decide what we recommend or how we score a product, and we link to products we’d recommend whether or not they have an affiliate program. Read our full affiliate disclosure.

Updates and corrections

We update reviews and guides when products, prices, or the evidence change, and every article shows when it was last updated. If you spot a mistake, email info@review2me.com with a link to the page and a source, and we’ll check it and correct it if needed.

Health information

Our fitness and health articles are general information, not medical advice. Talk to a doctor before starting a new exercise routine, especially if you have a health condition.
